This Saturday deaths were reported due to Covid-19, for the second consecutive day, after two months

This Saturday the new infections of Covid-19 in Santa Cruz reached 479 and the epidemiological report of Headquarters realizes two deceased due to the disease, with which the accumulated number of deaths in 2022 reaches 673. It is the second consecutive day with a report of deaths, after two months in which none had been registered.

Most of the cases (462) are in the Santa Cruz capital and the rest, spread over five provinces.

On the other hand, the anticovid vaccination reached 1,013 people, with which 58% of the population has already received the first dose; 47%, the second; 16% the single dose and the same percentage, the third dose, according to data from Headquarters.

This Sunday, as announced by the Government, 10 health centers will attend hours from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Lazareto, San Antonio, Palos Verdes, October 10 and Sagrada Familia), while others will do so from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Los Olivos and Los Lotes). The Elvira Wunderlich will attend from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the San Carlos, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

While the Municipality announced that it will move bmedical rigades to the Cabañas del Río Piraí, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In addition to immunizing against Covid-19, they will be administering the vaccines of the Expanded Program on Immunization, such as those against rubella, polio and yellow fever. In the same way, they will offer medical consultations and nasal antigen tests to detect coronavirus.
