12 years after the death of Diomedes Díaz, his family announced the remodeling of his tomb, one of the most visited sites.

The renovation was carried out by the artist’s heirs through the Diomedes Díaz Foundationwith the aim of preserving his memory. This was confirmed by Sielva María, secretary of the foundation, who called on the singer’s followers to take care of the place.
“It was the ideal date to show it to all lovers of their music, now we only ask that you please keep it.”he expressed.
The tomb, which was previously completely white, now looks in black colorwith a larger photograph of the artist and one of his most remembered phrases: “And the day my life ends, I leave you my song and my fame”, taken from his song Thank you so much.
