The document mentions that this increase will be used to “contribute to the sustainability of the system, the quality of the service and its infrastructure”It is also mentioned that they will increase user safety and protection.
For the vulnerable population (adults over 62 years of age and Sisbén population) the price of the tickets was as follows: $2,500 pesos for the trunk component and $2,250 pesos for the zonal component.

The cost of transfers will remain at $200 pesos for the trunk zone and $0 pesos in the zone, maintaining the 110 minutes already established for this benefit. It should be noted that this can only be done twice during a journey and with personalized cards.

The new SITP and TransMilenio fares will begin to be applied as of January 10, 2023.
