This September 11, 2025, the application of Gloria Patricia Perdomo Rangel to occupy the position of Minister of Information and Communications Technologies (MINTIC).

With a trajectory of more than two decades in the sector, Perdomo Rangel has developed most of his career in Ministry itselfwhere he has worked in various positions of responsibility. Since January 2022 he serves as an advisor, and between 2014 and 2022 he was a deputy director of the area. It has also been linked as a contractor in different periods between 2011 and 2013.
His experience in the public sector began in 1995 at the then Ministry of Communications, where he worked as a specialized professional until 1997. Subsequently, he entered the Telecommunications Company of Bogotá (ETB SA ESP), performing as a professional V between 1997 and 2005.
In the private sphere, he held positions as a commercial manager in Tes América Andina Ltda. (2006-2008) and in OSC Telecoms (2010-2011), in addition to having worked as a commercial advisor in Asecones SA in the nineties.
Gloria Patricia Perdomo Rangel has a training such as engineering and technologies management. She is graduated as Electronic Engineering of the Santo Tomás University, a specialist in mobile telecommunications at the Francisco José de Caldas District University and has a master’s degree in Strategic Management of Information Technologies of the External University of Colombia.
