Deadline to process the permanent license on CDMX
The document can be processed until December 2025.
During this period of one year, the Ministry of Mobility (Semovi) will enable a Macromodule Located in Magdalena Mixihuca, which will operate from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Xochimilco.
Process cost
The cost of the permanent driver’s license is 1,500 pesos. This applies to both renovations and those who apply for it for the first time.
REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM THE PROCESS
To obtain the permanent license you need to meet the following requirements:
- Have a current driver’s license.
- Not having sentences related to road accidents.
- Not having been sanctioned in the “drives without alcohol” or breathalyzer.
In addition, those who request this document for the first time must approve an exam that will evaluate their skills and knowledge at the wheel. This requirement seeks to guarantee road safety in the city.
