Some people do not know how to balance their relationships, they use their “affectionate” people to store secrets, friends and even their children as a spiritual garbage dump. There are those who do not really want to change things, they just want to vent, play the victim, make others feel guilty, because secretly they are fleeing from disapproval and also from the sacred duty to grow and mature. King David knew that maturing was necessary, not just to succeed. He did not limit himself to his status, he wanted to be approved by God, so he said to him, “examine my heart”… Who you truly are is beating there. Life will be willing to test you, people will ignore you or criticize you, but God seeks to “approve” you as long as you do not hide behind a “that’s the way I am” or behind Karma. God is still waiting for you.
