The call is open that will allow architects, organized communities, the public, private sector and academia, to participate in the second Bogotá Public Space Biennial 2021 (BEP BOG 2021), that this year will have the goal of recognizing built projects or management actions, aimed at generating ‘living spaces, meeting places’.
The application process will have no cost for those interested in participating and will be carried out in two phases: the first will go until November 15 and the second, from November 19 to 30.

It is important to note that only projects completed and carried out in the public space of the capital during the last five years can be presented, that is, in the period included between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2020.

“For the 2021 Biennial, projects may be registered in three categories: built public spaces, private spaces for public use and comprehensive management of public space, completed during the last five years in different locations in Bogotá, in which the quality will be further evaluated. of projects than their scale or cost. Projects in each of the categories will be awarded by an expert jury, which will also choose the most representative project, which will be declared as the winning project of the BEP BOG 2021”, Says Mauricio Uribe, curator of the Biennial.
This year, in addition, a gboastful special that will recognize an emblematic public space of the city that demonstrates the quality of design and especially the appropriation over time by the community. This environment will be chosen through citizen participation, through a vote.
