The return operation began Bogota after the holidays Holy Week.

Travelers began to enter the capital from the night of Friday, April 15.

TIME

KEEP IN MIND

We remind you how the regional ‘pico y placa’ works for the entrance to Bogotá, which is in shifts:

Until noon, all cars will be able to enter.

From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Only even plate cars (0, 2, 4, 6 and 8) will be able to enter.

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Only cars with odd plates (1, 3, 5, 7, and 9) will be able to enter.

after 8 pm, all cars will be able to enter.

And the regional ‘pick and plate’ will work in these nine sections of entry routes:

North Freeway: from the Andes toll to the north portal of the TransMilenio system, north-south direction.

South highway:
from the municipal limit of Soacha to Boyacá Avenue, south-north direction.

Centennial Avenue (13th Street): from the Bogotá river to the city of Cali avenue (86 Carrera avenue), west-east direction.

Avenida calle 80: from the guadua bridge to portal 80 of the Transmilenio system, from west to east.

Avenue race 7: from 245th Street to 183rd Street, north-south direction.

Boyacá Avenue via Llano: from the Argelino Durán Quintero tunnel to the old road to the Llano, from south to north.

Via Suba Cota: from the Bogotá River to 170th Street Avenue, north-south direction.

Via La Calera:
from the Patios toll to Carrera 7 Avenue, east-west direction.

Via to Choachi:
from the road to Monserrate to the ring road, east-west direction.

(See: Government Duque would end his term with 19 4G works: what would they be).

And keep in mind that there will also be a ‘pick and plate’ on the Autopista Sur (between Calle 30 Sur with Carrera 4 and Calle 59 Sur with Transversal 7). The hours are the same as the regional ‘pico y placa’.

Finally, the counterflow: there is counterflow on the Bogotá – La Vega – Guaduas road km 2+000 (Icoltrans sector) to km 0+000 (Puente de Guadua) from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm

And also, the Police activated a counterflow between the Devil’s Nose and Boquerón. Around 8 am, the Via 40 Express concession confirmed that “the contraflow is extended and a lane of the Bogotá – Girardot roadway is enabled from km49 in the Alto del Quinini sector to km52 at Chinauta. With this, three lanes are enabled to give priority to traffic Girardot – Bogotá“.

(See: The road accident rate was reduced by 9% during the bank holiday).
