What is the Héroes Paisanos Invierno 2022 operation about?
In order for the countrymen to be victims of crimes, the Héroes Paisanos Winter 2022 operation that started on November 29 and will remain until January 9, the Guardia units provide security on communication routes and accompaniment to caravans of compatriots who return to our country.
The National Guard, Inami, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SAT, the Attorney General of the Republic, the Ministry of Tourism, the National Human Rights Commission and the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation participate in this program, explained the general GN Manager.
The following actions are carried out:
- Monitor the passage of caravans
- Provide mechanical support
- Assistance in immigration procedures if necessary
- Medical assistance
- Points of information and orientation, and security, mainly in their transfer.
