This is how the eighth round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers will be played

Once the seventh date of the World Cup Qualifiers was played, between Thursday and Friday, The South American teams have already set their sights on the eighth day which will take place in full on Tuesday, September 10.

The first match to get underway that day will be the one between Colombia and Argentina, at the Roberto Meléndez Metropolitan Stadium in the city of Barranquilla. The match is scheduled for 16:30 (HB) and will be refereed by Chilean Piero Maza.

Half an hour later, at 17:00 (HB), the match between Chile and Bolivia is due to begin, who comes from beating Venezuela (4-0) in the city of El Alto. That match will be played at the Julio Martínez Prádanos National Stadium, in Santiago. The central referee of that clash between the Red and the Green will be the Paraguayan Juan Benítez.

Ecuador and Peru are scheduled to meet at the same time, at the Rodrigo Paz Delgado stadium in Quito, better known as Casa Blanca, where the referee will be Colombian Andrés Rojas.

Venezuela and Uruguay will face each other later, at the Monumental stadium in Maturín. The match is scheduled for 18:00 (HB) and the referee in charge of dispensing justice on the pitch will be the Brazilian referee Raphael Claus.

The duel that will close the eighth date of the South American Qualifiers will be the one that will be played Paraguay and Brazil, at the Defensores del Chaco stadium, from the city of Asunción. This match will start at 20:30 (HB) and will be refereed by the Uruguayan Andrés Matonte.
