The Minister of Labor, Gloria Inés Ramírez, assured that the National Government will be participating and discussing the 2023 salary in the coming dayswith the different actors that have a seat at the tripartite table on salary and labor policies, made up of unions, associations and the Government.

“Each day brings its eagerness and these numbers are calculated with the figures that come out in November and based on them we will act,” said Ramírez in the framework of the National Congress of Acopi, the union of microentrepreneurs.
The minister assured that an agreement must be reached between all the parties.
“The discussion will be held with employers and workers, with whom we will analyze different factors such as productivity, the loss of purchasing power of wages and other conditions that are complementary,” he explained.
(Informality for July-August had a reduction of 2.2 pp: it was 58.1%).
According to the official, it has been seen, for example, “a freezing of the basic food basket because the salary increase is 10% and when basic household products increase 12%” and this generates that the purchase value is higher by the cost of living”.
