This is how Patricia Grisales lived her time on MasterChef: the taste of pressure, learning and gratitude

Patricia Grisales broke the silence and told RCN Radio the true flavors, and disappointments, of her time on MasterChef Celebrity 2025.

The most famous cooking reality show in the country is entering its most decisive stage. The stoves are boiling, the clocks are ticking and so are the emotions.

While the country gets ready to meet the five best of MasterChef Celebrity, Some participants say goodbye with their hearts full and their heads held high. One of the most recent was Patricia Grisales, actress, cook by passion and one of the most beloved contestants of this season.

In interview with RCN Radio Digital, Patricia spoke with her usual charm, without posturing, and with that mix of emotion and humor that characterizes her.

From the first minute he made it clear that his time on the program was not just any experience: “If my time on the program were a recipe, it would be a dish with a lot of ‘Umami’”, he said smiling.

“That flavor that has everything: sweet, salty, acidic, spicy… because that was MasterChef for me: “a mix of emotions, stress, joy and a lot of passion.” That definition perfectly summarizes what he experienced during weeks of challenges, tests and pure adrenaline.

Although the public saw her calm and smiling, behind the scenes there were moments that marked her. “Definitely, The hardest part was cooking under pressure. Those final minutes left a huge mark on me. I still have nightmares about ‘hands up!’ “I wake up sweating,” he said, laughing.

And behind each dish there are stories that are not always seen on screen: the nerves, the unforeseen events and even the small accidents that become anecdotes.

Patricia clearly remembers her “worst culinary disaster”: “One time I had to make a dessert and I dropped the cookie. I got tangled, I didn’t know how to plate and that was total chaos. And another time I burned an empanada… well, actually, I didn’t burn it, Chef Belén burned it!” he said.

The most unexpected confessions about his time on MasterChef

Between confessions, Grisales also talked about the most beautiful moments, the friendships that are born in the midst of pressure and the coexistence that, according to her, was much more bearable than many imagine.

“I would love to return to a field test with Alejandra, with Pichingo, with Violeta or with Luisfer. We understood each other very well and there was always good energy,” he commented.

Of course, there was no shortage of intense moments. Patricia said that Carolina Sabino could be the most explosive of the group, although he clarified that his character came from his passion for cooking. “She is very noble. Sometimes she reacted strongly, but it was with herself, not even with others,” he explained.

In the midst of the memories, there was one point that filled her with pride: her seasoning. “My seasoning was my most important ingredient. Even if the dishes weren’t the prettiest, they tasted good. Chef Nicolás once said it: Sometimes Pati’s dishes are not the prettiest, but they taste delicious. And that was enough for me.”

‘Patty’ also confessed that one of her most exciting moments was when she managed to enter the Top 10 with bread filled with caramelized apple, cinnamon and curd, a challenge that made her cry with happiness. “I never imagined I could do something like that. It was one of those dishes that make you feel powerful,” she said.

What do you take away from MasterChef?

From the experience, Patricia not only took away new techniques, but also personal learnings. “MasterChef taught me to be patient, to enjoy the process, to laugh at my mistakes. “It reminded me that cooking with love is what really makes the difference,” he said with a smile.

And although she is no longer in competition, she remains attentive to what is happening in the most famous kitchen in the country. For her, the top possible winners are very clear: “Michelle has made a lot of progress, Aleja is super constant, Violeta is creative and studious, Carolina when spectacular kitchen is connected and Pichingo “It has a spark that makes it unique.”
