Official Twitter account of President Dina Boluarte was deactivated and is no longer available.
Last Tuesday, January 31, the official Twitter account of the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, was reported as disabled. According to the website’s rules and policies portal, when the owners of a profile decide to temporarily suspend their user, the message will appear: “This account does not exist.”
According to sources of The Republicthe head of state decided to deactivate it for personal reasons. It transpired that the president ordered that all information on official activities be disseminated through the institutional channels of the Presidency of the Republic.

In the last weeks, Users revived old tweets from President Dina Boluarte on the political situationas in the context of the repression by the National Police in the marches against the de facto regime of the Acciopopulist Manuel Merino.

“#AccionPopularASESINOS” was a tweet published by Boluarte Zegarra to express his rejection of the illegitimate assumption of Merino de Lama.
The Head of State also alluded to the consecutive resignations of the Council of Ministers of Ántero Flores-Aráoz after the unfortunate deaths of the young Inti Sotelo and Bryan Pintado: “The ministers of Merino coup are resigning in a cascade. Murderous Merino, quiet.”
In another tweet, published in March 2019, he rejected acts of the Peruvian National Police: “The Police are respected, but part that they are not, but (this) part that they are not abusive or bribery. We are tired of knowing that to find a good police officer is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Let the Police do the job of being honest police officers.
