This Tuesday, September 20, the prospectus for the issuance of Class D shares of the state-owned company Cantv was published. In the primary placement, purchase orders will be received from priority investors: retirees and workers of the telephone company and its subsidiaries
The details of the public offering of up to 39,357,042 common, nominative, non-convertible bearer shares, Class D of Compañía Anónima Telefónica de Venezuela (Cantv) were announced, with the publication of the issuance prospectus on Tuesday, May 20. September. Among the aspects it is highlighted that the purchase orders will begin to be received from September 22 through the leading agents of the placement Ratio Casa de Bolsa and Valoralta Casa de Bolsa.
«The public offer was authorized by the National Securities Superintendence (Sunaval) and registered in the National Securities Registry according to Providence No. 147 dated September 16, 2022, based on what was agreed by the Extraordinary Assembly of Shareholders of Cantv held on June 10, 2022, and according to the Board Resolution Directive No. RGAC-001/2022-06-17-018 dated June 17, 2022; and under the terms and conditions established in the term sheet dated September 16, 2022″, it was indicated in the prospectus.
The document also noted that primary placement may be done in a single round or through successive placement rounds. Each round of primary placement may have different characteristics and conditions within the provisions of this prospectus.
As recently announced, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, in the primary placement, purchase orders will be received from priority investors: retirees and workers of the telephone company and its subsidiaries. Then, investors in general will be able to participate in the placement round between October 11 and 18.
According to the prospectus, a total of 35 distribution agents are authorized to participate in this primary issuance of Cantv shares.
