The Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Tacna, chaired by Jael Flores Alanocafinished posting last night candidate lists who were finally registered for the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections.

In the case of applications to the Provincial Municipality of Tacna there are 13 formulas enabled for this contest. According to the order of appearance on the platform of the National Elections Jury, the following candidates and their respective political parties appear.
1.- Kareen Ríos Valdés – Front of Hope
2.- Elmer Robles Payehuanca – Podemos Peru Party
3.- Helmer Fernández Chaparro – Together for Tacna
4.- Guillermo McLean Cuadros – We Are Peru Party
5.- Carlos Jesús Vildoso Cañari – Popular Renewal Party
6.- Joel Saúl Chinchazo Montoya – Tacneñista Flags Regional Movement
7.- Freddy Javier Huashualdo Huanacuni – Advance Country Match
8.- Álvaro Zacarías Valderrama – Always Tacna Independent Movement
9.- Harrison Hurtado Zapata – Popular Action Party
10.- Luis Ayca Cuadros – Hope Front by Tacna
11.- Fabiola Rojas Caypa- Peruvian Civic Movement
12.- Pablo Huacasi Parqui – Autonomous Christian National Equality – Inca
13.- Pascual Milton Güisa Bravo – Tacna Force Movement.
These are the candidates that will be disputed in the little more than 20 days that remain until October 2 for the preference of the Tacneño electorate.

It should be noted that the election of provincial and district mayors is won by simple majority, they do not go to a second round as it happens in the case of regional governors.
