This Friday the first batch of Voting Machines was received to be used in disclosures to citizens.
The reception of the machines took place with the presence of the president of the Superior Court of Electoral Justice, Minister Jaime Bestard, and members of the Special Commission for the Implementation of Technology for the Voting and Counting System.
From the Electoral Justice they indicated that the electoral schedule is fulfilled in a timely manner with a view to the national elections of April 30, 2023 and their respective internal elections to be held on December 18, 2022.
On the other hand, the Electoral Justice recalled that on Tuesday, May 31, the inscriptions in the Permanent Civic Registry (RCP) will be declared closed, which will be valid for the preparation of the National Register, in view of the National and Departmental Elections 2023; according to TSJE Resolution No. 108/202, Art. 4, item 12.
After the stipulated date, registrations will continue normally until December 30, 2022, the natural period of the National Registration Campaign; however, these will not be part of the RCP for the 2023 election days.
The offices of the Electoral Registries are enabled on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays, from 07:00 a.m., whose addresses are available at the following link
