“Chelsea means a lot to me. I came here with the intention of staying just one year and it has ended up being four, not only for me but also for my family. My children play for Chelsea, it is a pride to be part of this family. Hopefully they can continue their career here, in this award-winning club where many want to play,” he said.

At 39 years old, Thiago Silva is a target for Fluminense, the club where he became known and played as a professional between 2006 and 2008.
