The governor of the Santo Domingo province, Altagracia Julia Drullardrevealed that they have found some problems that prevent cardholders of the Supérate social program from using the card.
Drullard reported that they are investigating the situation and as soon as they have concrete results they will announce the result.
Faced with these irregularities revealed by the governor, she stated that from the Government they seek that the work with social aid be “totally transparent”.
“There are thousands of people who have had some problems making transactions with the get over yourself cardWell, we have come to help him, it is because an investigation process was opened that has prevented, and that we should not say it publicly, but the time will come when it will be announced because we have these problems with the cards.
Governor Altagracia Drullard spoke this Saturday as part of President Luis Abinader’s visit to the producers’ market of the National Price Stabilization Institute (Inespre).
In addition, he added that he does not know if these irregularities are linked to Operation Discovery, the alleged network that, using electronic means to commit sexual and economic extortion, as well as the identity theft of United States citizens, was headed by Sucre Rafael Rodríguez Ortiz (Darimán and/or Dari).
It is recalled that at the end of February the Administrator of Social Subsidies (Adess) reported that due to technical problems in the monetary transfer system of the financial intermediation entity, there were difficulties in using the subsidies of the Supérate program in some areas of the country.
According to the authorities, the problem is specifically experienced by the beneficiaries of the Aliméntate and Bonogas subsidies in the provinces of Azua, Barahona, Bahoruco, Independencia, Pedernales and Santo Domingo.
In this sense, the Supérate program carries out days to claim and replace cards for people who have been affected by a technical failure in the Banco BHD banking entity, through which they trace their subsidies.
