They withdraw the accusation against Minero’s teacher and return her to her school; she asks not to touch the subject anymore

The subject will no longer be discussed in Minero. The father of the family, who had denounced the teacher Inés Peredo, for having requested semen from her students as part of a practical work on her subject, He signed a waiver on Thursday afternoon. Mario Adolfo Velarde must present it to the corresponding authorities to make it official. Earlier, a hearing was held in which the teacher – accused of corruption of minors – refrained from testifying.

The news was announced at a press conference called by the mayor of Minero, Salvador Torrejón, who expressed his agreement with this action.

In September, according to the mayor, in his municipality there will be a workshop on sex education to train the entire educational systemwhich will be attended by authorities from the Ministry of Health.

Mario Velarde, the father of the family, stated that the subject will no longer be discussed. “I hope this unfortunate event left us a lesson”, he indicated.

He also referred to the withdrawal document that He will present himself to the pertinent authorities to close the case. “The investigations will be done,” he said.

For his part, Professor Inés’ lawyer indicated that after Velarde presented the document to the Public Ministry, everything will remain “in the hands of the Prosecutor’s Office.”

Arnoldo Márquez, representative of the parents of Minero, celebrated the conciliation reached by the parties and stated that this was the objective they were looking for.

For her part, the teacher said that she is happy because this day they told her that she is going to return to the classroom. She thanked her family and those who supported her in these difficult times.
