MADRID, Spain.- All people who are going to enter Cuba from next January 23 will have to present, upon arrival at the airportsthe digital form D’Viajeros, where immigration, health and customs data are specified.
This regulation, corresponding to Resolution No. 320 of the Ministry of Transportation and published in the Ordinary Official Gazette on January 12, “is part of the country’s efforts to achieve digital transformation,” said Rita María García González, director of Air Transport and International Relations of the Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Cuba (IACC).

“The platform allows the traveler to complete the form, with a maximum of 48 hours in advance before the flight check-in to Cuba, obtaining as a result a QR code, which must be presented, in digital or printed format, to the customs authorities at the I arrive in the country,” he explained.
While the head of the Sanitary Control Department of the Ministry of Public Health, Carmelo Trujillo Machado, pointed out that this online process minimizes physical contact, reduces the stay in the epidemiological surveillance line, and avoids crowding.
The application to fill in the form has been tested since November 2021. According to the information, there have been more than 4,000,000 visits to the website www.dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu, and more than 1,700,000 visitors have arrived with their forms.
The D’Viajeros form is available in Spanish, English, French, Russian, Italian and German.
The authorities indicated that before any hardship, travelers can go, through digital channels, or directly, to the entities of the Tourism offices abroad and in Cuba.
