“The Independent Bank, by virtue of the complaints filed by some media outlets, will request the Comptroller’s Office and the ANTAI to investigate possible cases of nepotism in the public sector,” said the independent deputy, Juan Diego Vásquez, through his social networks.
After a publication of a list with more than twenty relatives of the deputy for the free candidacy Adan Bejerano, allegedly named on his list, the Independent Bank announced this Wednesday, July 6, that it will make a request to the authorities to investigate these cases.
“The Independent Bank, by virtue of the complaints filed by some media outlets, will request the Comptroller’s Office and the ANTAI to investigate possible cases of nepotism in the public sector,” said the independent deputy, Juan Diego Vásquez, through his social networks.
Vásquez added that with this decision, they ratify their rejection of such behaviors “wherever they come from.”
Deputy Bejerano recently resigned from being a member of this list, after casting his vote in favor of the re-election of the current president of the National Assembly, on July 1 at the installation of the new period of this State Organ.
