The birth of Montserrat Lamourtte is proof of how perseverance and support can make the impossible a reality. Diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), a serious condition with a guarded prognosis and frequently linked to other anomalies, Montserrat’s arrival represents a miracle of life.
His mother, the communicator Nicole Lamourtte, lived months of anguish and despair when she did not have the 13 million pesos necessary for surgery in Spain.
Without the funds and with time against her, Nicole took to social media on September 17, seeking support from the community and confessing that she was not willing to give up. Through tears she expressed: “I only ask you to help me put Monse’s shoes on. “I don’t want to give up so easily.”
Today, from the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona, Nicole shared a photo of little Montse, holding her little hand, along with the message: “We will put your shoes on you in the name of Jesus. We love you!”
The arrival of Montserrat has excited thousands of people on social networks, who, with messages full of affection, celebrate the miracle. “The Lord’s plans are perfect, God is faithful, welcome princess”, “Thank God, may he cover and protect her, Montse is a strong girl”, “We did it!” and “Our prayers will follow” are just some of the expressions of affection that the family received at this emotional moment.
