They will promote tourism in Tierras Altas through a cooperation agreement

A cooperation agreement to promote the tourism industry in Tierras Altas, Chiriquí province was signed by the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), Marcela Galindo De Obarrio and the president of the Chamber of Tourism, Trade and Industries of the Highlands (CAMTTA), Luigi González De La Lastra.

This agreement seeks to establish projects that promote the tourism industry in this destination, in addition to working together to advocate for State policies and laws that protect and boost the economy at the national level.

“With this strategic alliance between the Chamber of Commerce of Panama and the Chamber of Tourism of Tierras Altas, we seek to strengthen and strengthen relations between businessmen from both regions with the purpose of increasing business opportunities and the development of our members” , expressed Marcela Galindo, president of the CCIAP.

They detailed that the agreement will be valid for five (5) years, during which both parties agreed to study and seek solutions, to the extent of their possibilities, to all those problems that hinder the agile development of trade between their respective regions, as well as undertake to support the promotion and dissemination of industrial, commercial, service, tourist and cultural information when requested by the other Chamber.

They will also create and maintain a system of permanent exchange of economic, legal, commercial, industrial, tourist and cultural information between their respective chambers, whose objective will be to provide optimal service and added value to their own associates, as well as to promote accurate and timely knowledge. of the reality of the different sectors of both unions.

Likewise, they will carry out, jointly, seminars, conferences and business meetings aimed at exchanging experiences and knowledge in the different specialty areas and disseminating topics of interest for each of the sectors.

In the same way, both the CCIAP and the CAMTTA will designate the administrative personnel in charge of promoting from their respective headquarters the tourist and cultural services or of any other nature in forums, seminars, fairs, meetings and other activities carried out by each of the business associations. independently or jointly, as well as the exchange through tours and visits between the Chambers and their associates, in order to strengthen institutional ties and improve commercial relations, industry
