After two years, the traditional activities for Holy Week return and the regional, local and police authorities of the Junín region began the multisectoral meetings to promote the “Safe Holy Week 2022”. The work is headed by the Regional Government of Junín (GRJ), the Provincial Municipality of Huancayo (MPH) through the Department of Economic Promotion and Tourism, committed to strengthening preventive control actions and workshops that promote economic dynamism through the tourism in the Mantaro Valley.

“A multisectoral table was formed where all the activities prior to being carried out during Holy Week were worked on. We want to ensure that this week is not only liturgical actions, but also promote tourism. As part of our activities, we will promote gastronomic and craft fairs”, said the manager of Economic Promotion, Hugo Bustamante Toscano.
The National Police of Peru (PNP) and the Fire Company ensured their participation for surveillance and support in emergencies; always giving work recommendations together with local governments.

Likewise, the Regional Directorates of Tourism and Production, as well as the Prefecture of Junín were present, agreeing to identify actions to promote and receive tourism in the nine provinces of the entire Junín region.
