The agreement that establishes this support program for Dominican tourism was signed by the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, and Juan José Hidalgo, president of the airline, in a meeting attended by the president of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader.

“We believe in the country and we are proud of our presence and investments and we will continue to bet on the development of the Dominican people.”
Pérez also reported that Air Europa has put at the service of Dominican tourism the most modern aircraft for air transport, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, with an innovative method of continuous air purification (HEPA) that eliminates particles, bacteria, viruses and fungi; and its pressurization system that allows 8% more oxygen than common aircraft so that passengers have a much more pleasant flight experience and feel less fatigue during the trip.

He explained that the entertainment, with a finger screen in each seat, has a wide variety of audiovisual products (documentaries, series, music and movies) to make the flight more enjoyable; and the lighting system can simulate the phases of daylight on long-distance flights at all times, helping to adjust the internal biological clock and thus reduce fatigue due to the well-known “jet-lag” on arrival.
