Continuing to generate initiatives that protect the environment is everyone’s commitment and in that constant search, the NGO A Todo Pulmón and the company Doña Ángela come together to work on the forest restoration of the Guarapi Reserve, located in Yaguarón.
Through this agreement, the reserve opens its doors for the planting of 4,000 trees per year, which will allow the increase of the forest area and the sustainable management of resources. The agreement will also work on carrying out interactive environmental education activities and work with the communities in the area so that they are directly involved in the protection of the trees.
The reserve has a protected area of about 100 hectares, which constitute one of the main lungs of the department of Paraguari. With these actions, more and more companies join initiatives that prioritize respect for and conservation of nature.
“Knowing that we are working on the restoration of our forests to leave an important legacy for future generations fills us with satisfaction, especially for everything it represents. The more trees we plant, the more life and health we generate for the future”, commented Osvaldo Turlan, Executive Director of A Todo Pulmón.
Guarapi is open to the public for all those who are looking for an escape from the city, a few kilometers from Asunción and with wide landscapes that allow direct contact with nature and enjoy fresh air.
