The Director of Works of Provías Nacional, Marco Sifuentes, stated that the new it cannot paralyze despite the proposals made by some organizations.

For his part, the mayor of Huancayo, Dennys Cuba, expressed his support for the work due to the impact it will have.

“This project cannot be paralyzed and we are against saying that it is paralyzed. We have the technical, geological and other studies of this project; however, of the other (the proposal of the Regional Government of Lima) there are no basic studies nor is it known what the definitive outline is”, assured the burgomaster.

Yesterday, officials from the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) presented the progress of the new Central Highway in Huancayo.
