With the aim of contributing to speeding up passage through tolls, Cardnet and RD Vial Trust signed a strategic agreement to launch the new Paso Rapido recharge service through the instant messaging platform WhatsApp.

The agreement was signed by Louis BencosmeCEO of CardNet and Efrain Hirujogeneral director of the RD Vial Trust, who highlighted that this new virtual channel considerably facilitates the recharge action for Paso Rapido users at the toll, integrating a platform for universal use and a single registration of your card in the first interaction.
“It is a novel service because this platform is using the WhatsApp platform as a payment method, it is an innovation of the country, we have already used it through our allies in transit in Panama, in the recharge of the Panama train that uses this same platform that we make available to the country today,” he said.
