He shortstop for the Tampa Rays in the Major Leagues was arrested after having a fight with another man supposedly over a woman.
Franco, 23 years old, is being sentenced for illegal carrying and possession of a firearm.
In addition to Wander, the young woman’s ex-boyfriend will also be sentenced to coercion for the alleged blows he inflicted on the lady, according to Félix Porte’s post.

It is recalled that Franco will face a trial starting next December 12, under accusations of sexual abuse of a teenager, whose mother will also be tried for alleged exploitation of her daughter and money laundering.
According to the accusation, the Major League player supposedly had sexual relations with the minor since she was 14 years old and with the consent of the mother, to whom he would have given large sums of money and real estate to keep the case silent.
