To combat measles, the Ministry of Health (SSA) and the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), along with other units, will install a vaccination megacenter this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next to the Olympic Stadium of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

They indicated that the age range to immunize is from six months to 49 years and asked to take the National Health Chart. The schedule of attention will be nine in the morning to three in the afternoon.

According to SSA data, until the epidemiological week 35 of this year 4 thousand 353 measles cases have been confirmed. Chihuahua is the entity with the highest notification rate, and the age group with the most contagios is one to four years with 13.5 percent (586), followed by those aged 25 to 29, with 13.3 percent (578).

As for sex distribution, women with 51.9 percent predominate (2,259), and 48.1 percent in men (2 thousand 94).
