The police officer who shot a car caretaker will be included in the country’s list, as confirmed by General Guillermo Llerena, head of the La Libertad police region.
As recalled, the police non-commissioned officer identified as Ricardo Xavier Jiménez Castro shot William Andrés Cueva Collantes in the head.
The cash was on its free day and was a few meters from his house, but before entering he approached Andrés. Between insults and complaints, he punched him.
Later, Andrés only asked him for explanations, which unleashed his fury. He took out his gun and shot him.
The bullet impact left the victim unconscious and on the floor. Neighbors helped him and took him to a hospital.
The projectile went through his head, however, after spending three days in the intensive care unit, he lost his life.
Ricardo Jiménez is missing. Last Wednesday, a search was carried out at his house and inside they found a bag with marijuana and four sticks of dynamite.
The Minister of the Interior, Juan José Santiváñez, assured that the police officer would be discharged.
Likewise, in the “Domingo al Día” report they revealed that Jiménez has complaints of physical and psychological abuse. In addition, he brought criminal proceedings for minor injuries in the form of attacks against women or members of the family group.
He was also reported for his own passive bribery, specifically from a member of the National Police who directly or indirectly requested a donation.
As there was no quick action from the justice system, Andrés Cueva’s neighbors threw stones and even set fire to the fugitive police officer’s home.
