The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced the holding of a great Popular Congress for January 2025.
After receiving the great march on the occasion of the 165 years of the Battle of Santa Agnes At the Miraflores Palace, the first national leader reported having received a set of proposals to debate in the popular congress, in which farmers, community members, militiamen, fishermen and aquaculturists will participate.
The President issued a series of announcements to the Venezuelan people about the proposals made by the peasant movement regarding the strengthening of Popular Power:
- Approval of the creation of the Social Action Brigades of Peasants and Fishermen, to serve rural communities in a deep and comprehensive manner, with health, Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), Barrio Adentro modules, recovered schools and comprehensive social care.
- Approval of the founding and creation of a Great Confederation of Peasant and Fisherman Forces, for the organization of the new era with the 7T Plan; in order to group the peasant diversity and all its expressions into a single block of force, with all its productive and combat capacity.
- Creation of the National Peasant Militia, National Fishermen’s Militia and the Armed Combatant Corps of Peasants and Fishermen.
Likewise, he instructed the Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez; to the Minister of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado; to the Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Menry Fernández; and the Minister of Aquaculture and Fisheries, Juan Carlos Loyo, to the creation of an immediate implementation plan to reinforce the entire peasant planting movement, and that of the School Conucos.
With this idea, it is proposed that peasant movements enter into the work of massifying conucos in all schools and high schools, within the framework of the Carlos Lanz Rodríguez movement.
In addition to this, he ordered the creation of Productive Brigades from all the fields in the country to produce in La Vergareña, and in the Patria Grande del Sur project, which consists of 160 thousand hectares delivered, of which work has already begun on 10 thousand. with the Landless Movement of Brazil and a Peasant Camp of Brazil-Venezuela.
The President added that 10 thousand more hectares were delivered to another project that is being set up by ALBA, with a perfect fusion of Popular Power, to advance and accelerate empowerment, organization and deployment capacity; this as part of the proposals for organization, production, education and defense, to defend the Homeland and the productive territories.
The moment of loyalty
The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that, in the face of all the betrayals against the heroes of the Homeland, during the past history of Venezuela, compared to today, loyalty to the historical project of the Liberator Simón Bolívar persists and the General of the Sovereign People Ezequiel Zamora.
«The time for loyalty and combat has arrived, and the time for betrayal and the curse of betrayal in Venezuela is over. Here comes time of loyalty with the original projects of Bolívar and Zamora, we have sworn it and we have fulfilled it,” he compared.
Maduro also swore in the United Popular Liberation Army of the 21st Century, named “General Ezequiel Zamora.”
During the oath taken with the people under the Bolivarian, Zamoran and Commander Chávez thoughts, he emphasized that the “times of betrayal will not return (…). I swear that victory will haunt us forever [y que la] victory is ours.
In this sense, the Dignitary highlighted that on January 10, 2025, the “historical strength of Bolívar and Zamora”, in order to continue carrying out the “great transformations that Venezuela needs, to defeat any plot of imperialism and the oligarchy.”
Likewise, he stressed that he will consolidate “unity in the patriotic, peasant, worker, popular, militia, and police forces” to continue leading the paths of the Bolivarian Homeland.
Finally, the Head of State urged people to take to the streets in defense of peace, prosperity and sovereignty, for the well-being of the future of the Homeland.
«Next January 10 we will take to the streets by millions to swear for Venezuela, to swear for independence, to swear for the Bolivarian Homeland. January 10 and the years to come will be years of peace, prosperity, sovereignty and full independence,” he predicted.
