With an investment of B/. 9,248,268.98 the President of the Republic Laurentino Cortizo and the Vice Minister of Public Works Librada de Frías, delivered the order to proceed to execute the Rehabilitation project Paving Streets of Tonosí, in the province of Los Santos.
According to the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), this project will benefit the inhabitants of the Tonosí district and will have an approximate length of 26,465 km throughout this district.
During his tour in the province of Los Santos, Cortizo also delivered the order to proceed for the design, supply, transportation, delivery, and installation of materials, equipment, and interconnection for line extension projects.
This work will impact 390 inhabitants of the communities of El Bebedero, Guanico, Isla de Cañas and La Tronosa. This project, which covers 22.25 kilometers, has an investment of B/.1,189,488.08.
