“Operation School Vaccination includes expanding the application of doses against Covid-19 to 1,552 schools in more than 80 districts nationwide, let’s continue to take care of ourselves and safeguard the health of our students,” Cortizo said through his Twitter account.
The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, announced that the School Vaccination Operation will be carried out from March 14 to 18, in order to expand immunization against Covid-19 in schools.
This vaccination program is aimed at children between 5 and 11 years of age, as long as there is prior authorization from the guardian.
“Operation School Vaccination includes expanding the application of doses against Covid-19 to 1,552 schools in more than 80 districts nationwide, let’s continue to take care of ourselves and safeguard the health of our students,” Cortizo said through his Twitter account.
The president also announced the establishment of 237 fixed vaccination points against the coronavirus, these will be distributed nationwide. In these centers, doses will be applied to the entire population over 5 years of age
To conclude his announcement, the president congratulated the Operation PanavaC19 team “for their excellent work, and I urge them to continue working together, in a disciplined manner for the benefit of all Panamanians. We are on a mission to save lives and each vaccine counts, each vaccine is important.
