A young woman from Bahía Blanca will be discharged in the next few hours, after being admitted to a clinic on the Mexican island of Cozumel, where she was run over with a friend, who is already in the country, her relatives reported on Wednesday. .

This is Luz Arias, who had to have her leg amputated and later had to undergo surgery on her arm, after the accident that occurred on March 26, when she was traveling on a motorcycle with her friend Darian Stacco, who has been hospitalized since the end of last week at the Fernández Hospital in the city of Buenos Aires, after being repatriate In the past week.

Close friends of the young woman told Télam tonight that “Luz will be discharged in the next few hours after being admitted to a clinic in Cozumel, so it is estimated that she will soon travel to Argentina.”

“Luz is with her brother Walter and her mother, who traveled to Mexico a few hours after the accident,” they added.

For his part, Walter, through his Instagram account, published a photograph with his sister Luz and his mother and in which he expressed “Thank you all !!!!!”.

For his part, Stacco has been hospitalized at the Fernández Hospital since the weekend, when he returned to the country on a medical plane.

The accident occurred on March 26, when Stacco and Arias, both 28 years old, were riding a motorcycle and were run over by a patrol car from the Public Security Directorate of the city of Cozumel, an island located in the Mexican Caribbean.
