Myriam Rodríguez, fiscal agent, informed Radio Monumental that the director, the coordinator and a teacher of the school are going to be prosecuted for violation of the duty of care and obstruction of criminal prosecution. An alleged case of sexual abuse against a child was reported in the institution.
The members of the staff of professionals from the Lambareño school will be summoned this Saturday to testify and later the respective imputation will be formulated. The educational authorities are in the capacity of delayed and will spend the night at the police station.
In turn, Sonia Escauriza, general director of Children of the Ministry of Education (MEC), explained that a group of parents contacted her to report on an alleged case of sexual abuse of a child in a private school.
The alleged abuse would have been carried out by a 15-year-old student against a 6-year-old minor. Two other minors would have been accomplices.
