The El Público Theater company, directed by Carlos Díaz, will celebrate the 31st anniversary of its foundation on May 20.
The actors Yailene Sierra, Fernando Echavarría, Clarita García, Brian Ernesto, Estrellita and the cast of the miraculous shoemaker by Federico García Lorca, currently on the billboard.
The event will begin at 8:30 p.m. at the Teatro Trianón, El Público headquarters. An exhibition of photos by journalists Yuris Nórido and Lester Vila will also be inaugurated.
El Público has staged works such as the celestine, Antigonon, an epic contingent, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The bitter tears of Petra Von Kant.
Its director, Carlos Diaz, won the National Theater Award in 2015.
