They will build two bridges and a roundabout in Barranquilla

Barranquilla's strategy to be a Biodivercity

Barranquilla. The Mayor’s Office of the capital of Atlántico assured that “the definitive solution to the vehicular congestion that occurs daily in this sector, at the entrance and exit of Circunvalar Avenue, will be possible thanks to the construction of a road interchange, which will be executed after the agreement reached by the construction companies”.

Likewise, the District reported that this road solution includes two bridges and a roundabout where vehicles will be able to enter and exit Alameda, connecting with the Circunvalar and with Miramar.

The work, which will begin in November, will be delivered in stages and without interrupting traffic, while variants will be made so that the vehicular flow can continue to develop. This week the project will be presented to the Council of Barranquilla, with the intention of allowing builders to anticipate obligations in partial plans and, in this way, achieve financial closure.

We are going to take to the Council this week a project of agreement so that they allow us to advance those capital gains and urban delineation taxes that they have to pay in the coming months and years, so that they can build that great road interchange that gives access to Alameda towards Carrera 43 and towards Circunvalar Avenue without interrupting road flow”, expressed the mayor, Jaime Pumarejo.

They will also build private parking lots and put an end to the problem of badly parked cars.
