The Santiago City Hall started construction work on sidewalks and curbs in the sector The plains of La Barranquitasouth of Santiago de los Caballeros.
The act to start the work was headed by the Deputy Mayor Leonela Massiel Espinal, who explained that 1,071 square meters of sidewalks and 1,691 linear meters of curbs will be installed.
He informed that the work will be carried out with an investment of seven million pesos belonging to the participatory budget.
He stressed that the project will improve the quality of life of community members who need it so much.
The vice mayor also highlighted that the initiative joins hundreds of other works that have been delivered and others that are under construction throughout the municipality of Santiago de los Caballeros.
