During the vaccination week of the Americas, the Metropolitan Health Region intends to apply some 5,000 doses of influenza vaccine.
These vaccines will be applied by the nurses who will go house to house to provide the population with immunization against different diseases.
This Tuesday, April 26, the vaccinating team of the Ministry of Health took for the second day, the sector of La Siesta under the sweeping technique from early hours, applying the doses of vaccines of the Expanded Program of Immunization included against influenza.
In addition to home visits, the authorities located fixed points in the paid zone La Siesta, Mini Market and at the Emperatriz Taboada school.
This sweeping program that began last Saturday 23rd will end on April 30th.
