Officials of the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) and Banco Nación (BNA) held a technical meeting this Thursday with representatives of the entities that are members of the Liaison Table and the Agroindustrial Table Argentina to define aid measures for producers affected by the drought.
The Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Juan José Bahillo, who led the meeting, indicated on his social networks that during the meeting “a positive dialogue that allows us to continue working so that measures for producers affected by drought can be announced in the coming days.”
In this way, a series of scheduled meetings that began on Tuesday to define the initiatives concluded to be announced by the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, on February 1, as promised by the head of the Treasury portfolio.

In this sense, he indicated that “On February 1 we have to be giving answers. I think that this is a shared work of all, zone by zone, activity by activity”.
One day before the meeting, the Rural Society (SRA), Rural Confederations (CRA), Agrarian Federation (FAA) and Coninagro, presented a series of claims for tax measures and credit support for affected producers.
