Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado warned Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador yesterday that a great uprising would break out migratory wave
from his country if Nicolás Maduro clings to power.
I tell you something (to Mexico): if Maduro chooses to hold on to power by force, by foul means, we will only be able to see a wave of migration like we have never seen before: 3, 4, 5 million Venezuelans in a very short time.
Machado said in a video press conference with Mexican media.
He said he had not had any communication with López Obrador, but asked him to intervene so that Maduro agrees to negotiate with the opposition.
He also considered that the initiative of Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, which seeks an institutional solution to the post-electoral crisis in Venezuela, can establish clear, firm and effective negotiation terms
. Machado offered to hand over To all experts from any country in the world, and especially from Colombia, Brazil and Mexico
all the minutes and databases in its possession relating to the votes held on 28 July.
