This Saturday, January 14, the Parade of the Thousand Skirts will be held and from today, Friday, the Authority for the Protection of Consumers and Defense of Competition (Acodeco) began an intense operation in commercial premises located in the provinces of Herrera and Los Santos, to guarantee compliance with the rights of consumers who will attend this event.

In accordance with Acodeco, compliance with Law 45 of 2007 (expired and deteriorated products, sight prices, among other marketing regulations) is being verified, the improper use of gas cylinders will be reviewed (Cabinet Decree # 16 of 2014), price control and reusable grease.

In the event of any irregularity or complaint, Acodeco urges consumers to use its virtual assistant Sindi, which works 24 hours a day, 7 days, and access is through WhatsApp and Telegram at 6330-3333, the AcodecoPma social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and the website of this institution.

It is expected that the economic agents of Azuero comply with the consumer protection provisions, since they have been duly advised on different occasions by the regional administrations of Acodeco, in Herrera and Los Santos.
