They urge the new opposition to respect the rule of law

The deputy to the National Assembly, Fernando Soto Rojas, said that after the results obtained by the Venezuelan opposition during the municipal elections of July 27, the way is to “evaluate and present itself in the future as a rectifying current.”

The statement was conducted during an interview with Venezolana de Televisión, where he explained that “the new opposition, represented in 15% of the mayors of the country, must pass as a rectifying current with the purpose of respecting the rule of law, as well as the participatory and leading democracy that has been consolidated within the Bolivarian revolution.”

The most age parliamentarian within the deputies, which combines a vast socio -political career, stressed that the key to success is to recognize “the leadership of popular power, because it is what happens in Latin America with the rulers who do not give concrete response to the population.”

Under this context, he said that it is important to “move towards participatory, leading and Bolivarian democracy”, with the objective of consolidating the dream of the Angostura Congress convened by Liberator Simón Bolívar.

“Military dictatorships or bourgeois liberal regimes; those two ways of governing (in Latin America) do not respond to the situation of the peoples,” he said.

Encrrona to solve. Soto Rojas recalled that President Nicolás Maduro summoned a “enclosure” between the governors and elected mayors of the country to discuss the “real concrete plan”, oriented in the Blue Book, of Commander Hugo Chávez.

He emphasized that “with the seven transformations, as well as all historical and strategic orientations, it must be followed to enter tactical problems and concrete plans, as an example, what is the mayor’s plan in these next four years, that must be reviewed,” he said.

It should be remembered that the plan of the seven transformations (7T), is the result of an advisory process that involved more than 63,000 popular assemblies throughout the country.

President Maduro, during his annual message to the nation this year, explained that the system of plans of the Plan de la Patria, Constitutional Law of the Nation, “has a long breath horizon. It is the definitive transformation of social historical formation, to build a fair and egalitarian, solidarity society, with the supreme end of the happiness of our population.”
