Trasladan cadáver de cubano en bicitaxi, a falta de carro fúnebre

They transfer the body of a Cuban in a bicitaxi, in the absence of a hearse

CDMX, Mexico.- The lifeless body of Cuban Yoandri Castillo Arias was transferred in a rickshaw, loaded on the legs of a friend.

After waiting several hours for a hearse, the relatives of the deceased decided to move it themselves because the corpse began to decompose in his house, according to the person who transported it.

The Cuban died at the age of 36 in the Güines municipality, Mayabequecommented his friend in the video, although he did not specify the causes of death.

“Since 12:00 AM waiting for a car from this government and (the body) catching plague in the house (…) it is black, purple,” said the friend while uncovering the face of the deceased to show the color change in their skin

“Look what we had to do, because there are no cars or no oil (…). We had to take him out in a pedicab all over the road, ”commented the man, who clarified that he was not a“ counterrevolutionary ”but was demanding rights.

In the video, which contains strong images, you can see how a group of people follow the rickshaw down the road on bicycles.

“This is as if he were my foster brother,” says the person who records the video and carries the corpse.

The user who spread the complaint on Twitter presented it by saying: “This is Communist Cuba where there is no future or dignity to die; where there are no medicines, no ambulances, no boxes”

Sadly, this joins other denunciations by Cuban men and women who have not been able to give family and friends a dignified farewell due to the acute crisis that is affecting almost everything in the country, except perhaps for the construction of hotels and the repression.

Recently, the Cuban Yudith Despaigne Céspedes He denounced that his grandfather had been buried with a coffin made of cardboard to pack beer. This occurred in the Santiago municipality of Contramaestre.

Also at the beginning of the year Cubanet denounced that in the municipality of Songo La Maya, Santiago de Cuba, any vehicle has been used to transport the corpses, because the two cars in charge of the service in that area are broken. Specifically in recent days, the used car belongs to the local House of Culture, where it functioned as a loudspeaker.
