Around 9:30 a.m. this Tuesday, there were disorders on the outskirts of the National Institute, in the commune of Santiago. Subjects dressed in white overalls confronted Carabineros personnel, throwing about 30 Molotov cocktails at police personnel.
For their part, the police officers used cars that can launch gas and water cannons to restore order and traffic in the area. Given this, the traffic on the south side of Avenida Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins was interrupted, to be enabled shortly after but only for private cars.
