Supervisan trabajos de rehabilitación en la estación Altamira del Metro de Caracas

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, supervised the work carried out in the Caracas Metro, specifically in the Altamira station, as part of the Metro Plan Moves With You.

It was learned that the vice president was accompanied by the People’s Power Minister for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, and other authorities, who verified the complete recovery of the refrigeration system of this station, which was damaged by the violent actions of right-wing groups during the so-called “guarimbas”.

The authorities toured the areas of the station, in addition to verifying the operation of mass transportation and reviewing the customer service and information ticket offices.

It is worth noting that said plan addresses, in all its dimensions, the four lines of the Caracas Metro, among them, the conditioning of the infrastructure, decoration, landscaping, electrification, painting and works of art, as well as security, waterproofing work, attention to leaks, elevator system, escalators, platforms, wagons, among others.
