For reason of the centenary Foundational “The city that progresses”, the contest is open to participants of all ages, nationalities and places of residence, and accepts unpublished works in Spanish or English, with independent awards for each language.
A statement from the organizers of the contest indicates that Poetry They must revolve around the city of Hialeah and reflect its cultural, social and historical essence.
“Compositions will be accepted in free verse or in any estrophic form, with a maximum extension of 300 verses. The works must be totally unpublished, and will be presented in PDF format, under a motto and pseudonym system,” announces the press release.

Also, proposals must be sent to email poetryintimehialeah100@gmail.com with the issue “Centennial Poetry Contest”.
