The legislator for Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) recommended to the Ministry of Health that it carry out an intervention strategy in the well-being of public institutions to reduce work stress generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Olivares, the United Nations Organization (UN) He pointed out that much must be done to protect mental health in the workplace, “and that is why we make the recommendation to the Government to reduce the negative impact of work stress, in all aspects of society,” he said.
Olivares argued that the health of citizens is the responsibility of the authorities, for this reason they must promote healthy development and a culture of prevention around mental health.
He hopes to have the support of all his colleagues in the Chamber of Deputies to make this health initiative a reality.
“According to the latest health reports, the levels of violence have increased and work environments do not escape this reality, so all necessary measures are needed to make work spaces safe, in the face of this new reality,” he said.
