A merchant was robbed at gunpoint in the El Poblado neighborhood of Girón (Santander), after withdrawing 50 million pesos in cash from a Bancolombia branch.
According to preliminary versions, three armed men followed him to the bank and approached him in the middle of a public street.

The Metropolitan Police of Bucaramanga confirmed that it is carrying out the review of security cameras and monitoring escape routes to identify those responsible.
“The corresponding investigations and analysis of security cameras are already underway to clarify what happened,” the authorities reported.
The authorities recalled the importance of requesting police accompaniment when withdrawing large sums of money, in order to prevent this type of theft.
